Best Time to Visit Egypt and Why

The best time to follow a 5 days Egypt itinerary is between October and April. During these months, the weather is mild, making it comfortable to explore outdoor attractions like the pyramids and ancient temples without the intense summer heat.

Winter (December–February) is especially popular for Nile cruises and sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan, where temperatures remain pleasant. These cooler months also mean clearer skies for photography, especially at sunrise and sunset.

If you prefer fewer crowds, aim for the shoulder months of October–November or March–April, when the weather is still ideal but tourist sites are less busy.
